Time-Lapse Tuesday: Sunset over Kalaw in Myanmar

May 24, 2016 G Adventures

Kalaw was originally founded by British civil servants seeking to escape the heat of the plains. Today, it is a popular trekking spot with travellers, who come to embrace the soothing landscape and calm atmosphere. The area allows a freedom of movement not afforded in other parts of the country, with the chance to connect with local hill tribes and visit the serene Inle Lake.

For now, enjoy this golden sunset and see how Myanmar should earn a place on every hiker’s bucket list.

Getting There

G Adventures runs a number of departures to the Myanmar encompassing a wide range of departure dates and activities to cater for different tastes. We’re thrilled at the prospect of showing you this big blue planet of ours — check out our small group trips here.
