Time-Lapse Tuesday: Market square in Marrakesh

May 31, 2016 G Adventures

Jemaa el-Fnaa is the main square of Marrakesh and it teems with life from dawn till dusk.

Leather craftsmen and medicine men work their trade by day, but wait until the sun goes down to truly experience Jemaa el-Fnaa at its best! Storytellers, acrobats and musicians come to entertain the swelling crowds as the city darkens and street vendors set up shop.

Whether having your hands painted with henna, your fortune told by cards, or sampling local Moroccan refreshments, you’re always welcome to come down and add to the atmosphere at this world famous market.

Getting There

G Adventures runs a number of departures to the Morocco encompassing a wide range of departure dates and activities to cater for different tastes. We’re thrilled at the prospect of showing you this big blue planet of ours — check out our small group trips here.
