Visual Adventure: Mt Everest & the Himalayas

November 15, 2016

Stalwart and beautiful, Mt Everest reigns supreme over a vast array of equally magnificent peaks in Nepal. Indeed, the beauty of the Solukhumbu region in Nepal, in which Everest lies, makes the trekking a life-changing experience for many an adventurer.

While arriving at Everest Basecamp (EBC) is an experience in its own right, I believe it’s the trek en route that earns the phrase, “getting there is half the adventure.” Truly, the views, the people, the wonder of the Himalayas on your way to EBC are, for me, the magic of any trip to these mountains.

Where words fail me, I’ll let the images take over.
