This adventure offers a great balance of guided excursions and free time – and optional activities abound. DAY 1 QUITO Arrive at any time. DAY 2 SAN CRISTÓBAL ISLAND Fly to San Cristóbal. Visit Mann Beach to see the sea lions and frigatebirds. ( 1B, 1L ) DAY 3 SAN CRISTÓBAL ISLAND Enjoy a snorkelling trip to Kicker Rock to search for marine life like sea turtles, manta rays, and sharks. Visit the Interpretation Centre in the afternoon to learn about the natural history of the area. ( 1B, 1L ) DAY 4 FLOREANA ISLAND Travel by boat to Floreana Island, where there are opportunities to swim and snorkel. Free afternoon in Puerto Velasco Ibarra. ( 1B ) DAY 5 FLOREANA ISLAND/ISABELA ISLAND Morning excursion to the highlands of Floreana. Continue by boat to Isabela Island for a visit to the "Wall of Tears" and a nearby lookout point. ( 1B, 1L ) DAY 6 ISABELA ISLAND Full-day tour to Sierra Negra Volcano to see the second-largest crater in the world and enjoy an exhilarating downhill bike excursion. Visit the Giant Tortoise Breeding Centre on the way back to town. Opt to take surfing lessons on the nearby beach.
