Explore Bariloche and wind through the mountains to Chile's lake district, then head south and trek extensively through some of South America's premier hiking destinations. With ample time in Torres del Paine, encounter the Perito Moreno Glacier and trek Glacier National Park before heading to the "end of the earth – Ushuaia. DAY 1 BUENOS AIRES Arrive at any time. DAYS 2-3 BARILOCHE Fly to Bariloche and enjoy free time to explore. Opt to go on a day hike, mountain biking, or horseback riding. ( 2B ) DAYS 4-5 PUERTO VARAS Enjoy a scenic bus journey to Puerto Varas and spend free time exploring the area. Optional activities include rafting, hiking, or exploring Chiloe Island. ( 2B ) DAY 6 PUNTA ARENAS In the morning, fly south to Punta Arenas and opt to visit the Otway penguin colony. ( 1B ) DAY 7 PUERTO NATALES Relax and enjoy the scenery on the bus ride to Puerto Natales. ( 1B ) DAYS 8-11 TORRES DEL PAINE NP Embark on a 4-day excursion within Torres del Paine National Park, hiking the famous "W Circuit". See the Horns of Paine, the Towers, the French Valley, and Grey Glacier. ( 4B, 4L, 3D ) DAY 12 EL CALAFATE Cross back over the Andes and travel by bus back into Argentina to El Calafate. Free afternoon to explore. ( 1B ) DAYS 13-15 PERITO MORENO GLACIER/ GLACIER NP/EL CHALTÉN Enjoy an included visit to Perito Moreno Glacier and marvel at its size and beauty, then travel by bus to El Chaltén. Embark on a full-day guided hike in Glacier National Park to Laguna de los Tres and opt to spend free time hiking or mountain biking. ( 1B ) DAYS 16-17 USHUAIA Fly to Ushuaia.
