Our Ganges riverboat program brings the beauty and majesty of the river and its surrounding communities to life. Step aboard and discover India's story straight from the source. Tradition comes alive The rural village of Matiari is famed for its long tradition of brass-working. On our stop here, you'll meet some of the artisans who keep that tradition alive today, and get to watch them beat out, shape, engrave, and polish brass water pots by hand. Explore the Temple City In Kalna, you'll swap the boat for a rickshaw and travel to the gorgeous 108 Shiva Temple Complex, an engineering marvel of 108 temples that stand in two concentric circles. For the full eff ect, stand in the centre of the complex and admire the incredible sight. Roots of the Taj The historic city of Rajmahal is home to dozens of ruined palaces, forts, and mosques reclaimed by nature.
