Excursions & activities Nobody comes to the Galápagos just to loaf around on deck all day. You're here to explore, and we do our best to get you off the ship as much as possible. We'll make two landings every day at different sites to keep things fresh and interesting. Hiking & wildlife spotting Not all of the Galápagos' natural attractions swim, scuttle, or fl y. Active volcanoes abound here, and you'll get the chance to get up-close and personal with one during a hike on Isabela Island's Sierra Negra volcano crater and trekking across volcanic beaches in search of boobies, cormorants, and iguanas. Snorkelling In the Galápagos, the fun doesn't stop once you reach the shore. Getting out to swim and snorkel with the islands' exotic creatures – including sea turtles, hammerhead sharks, and sea lions – is one of the most amazing experiences you can have out here, and we do our best to ensure you spend as much time in the water as you can. Uncommon experiences The Galápagos Islands lend themselves to truly unique experiences. Drop off some mail at Post Offi ce Bay on Floreana, study tortoises at the Charles Darwin Research Station on Santa Cruz, and pass through majestic Kicker Rock off San Cristóbal Island. Best of all, that's only the beginning. 3 2 TOP You might start feeling more comfortable in flippers than in shoes. 1. Feeling crabby? Not this little guy. 2. To biologists he's Conolophus Subcristatus, but to us, he's "Iggy." 3. The Galápagos is a busy hub of take-offs and landings. 4. Strap on a snorkel and get closer to nature than you ever could back home. Galápagos Land & Sea All G Adventures Galápagos trips are a minimum of seven days (four nights in the Galápagos). We know that you need at least that long to enjoy what the islands have to off er. Look for this title in all of our available trips, and you'll be choosing to spend a night on shore in either San Cristobal or Baltra (depending on trip itinerary) before getting onboard your vessel. 4 SOUTH AMERICA › ECUADOR, GALÁPAGOS 63
