Instagrams of the Week: Japan

October 16, 2015 Mark Bonington

Japan is a place where the practical and the picturesque exist in balanced harmony. Zen temples endure alongside chrome skyscrapers, a plate of rice and fish becomes a work of art and ancient philosophies are applied to modern business.

Japan is regarded as one of the most hospitable countries in the world and welcomes over 13.4 million visitors every year. Once there, they have the opportunity to witness a culture who is pioneering their approach to the modern fields of science and technology, while remaining deeply engrained in ancestral tradition.
