Kruger National Park in South Africa encompasses mountains, bush plains and tropical forests, spreading over an area of 19,485km sq (7,523 sq mi). So it should come as no surprise that it's one of the best spots in Africa for snapping wildlife.
You may enter with the intention of seeing the “Big 5”, but you’ll soon discover there are creatures of all sizes to point your lens at. Check out a few of our favourites!
First up, the keen eyes of an African wild dog from @scambo_uk. Unique among social carnivores, it is the females who are ostracised from the pack once they reach maturity.
A big boss of a cape buffalo, by @mymouchki. Bulls weigh in at over 910kg (2,010 lb) and are highly aggressive.
No need for a dentist here. @stumacphotos snaps the toothy smile of a crocodile.
@sebbarrio photographed this hippo looking ready to nap, but don't forget he’s one of the most dangerous animals in Africa!
Finally, your daily dose of d’awww with this baby elephant playing in the mud by @andidill. Elephants have the longest gestation period of any mammal, with calves taking 22 months to be born.
