The Underwater World of the Galápagos Islands

December 15, 2014 Robin Wu

Exploring the Galápagos Islands is both an adventure over land as well as in open water. On land, there’s no shortage of sunbathing marine iguanas, sleepy-eyed sea lions, or watchful albatross and boobies, but underwater, the Galápagos Islands are awake and active, and coming to life. During my trip to the Galápagos, I spent each day snorkelling, and every time it offered a different perspective or something new to see. It takes no more than a simple waterproof camera to easily capture the beauty of this unique paradise, hidden just below the water’s surface.
