Time-lapse Tuesday: Galápagos Fish Market

October 7, 2014 G Adventures

Today’s Tuesday, so it’s ‘time’ to ‘lapse’ it up! Each week, we’ll share a new way of looking at this big blue planet of ours. While a photo does a great job of capturing what we see with our own eyes, a time-lapse can reveal just how little our eyes actually allow us to see. So turn yours on this today’s time-lapse, and watch market day in the Galápagos Islands grow into a mysterious, awesome, indescribably magnificent world in itself.

With a population of 12,000, Santa Cruz is the second largest island in the Galápagos but it might just have the most heart. The main town Puerto Ayora is the centre Galápagos conservation housing both the Galápagos National Park and Charles Darwin Foundation. Oh, and of course, this fish market. #timelapseTuesday
