March 22, 2016 G Adventures

The area around the Magaliesberg Range in South Africa has a history — two million years of it! Evidence of the hominini (the earliest of our immediate ancestors) has been traced to caves in and around the town named after this mountain range.

Shelter Rock boasts a 4km (2.4 mi) scenic trek. So go ahead, follow in the footsteps of our eldest human ancestors.

Getting There

G Adventures runs a number of departures to South Africa encompassing a wide range of departure dates and activities to cater for different tastes. We’re thrilled at the prospect of showing you this big blue planet of ours — check out our small group trips here.
