Time-lapse Tuesday: Clouds Over Mt Everest

October 14, 2014 G Adventures

It’s Tuesday, so it’s “time” to “lapse” it up! (See what we did there?) Each week, we’ll share a new way of looking at this big blue planet of ours. A photo does a great job of capturing what we see with our own eyes, a time-lapse reveals just how little the eye can see. Turn yours onto this today’s time-lapse and watch the clouds over Mt Everest in Nepal grow into a mysterious, awesome, indescribably magnificent world in itself.

This planet’s highest mountain at 8,848m (29,029 ft) above sea level shares an international border with Nepal and China at its summit. We think of Everest as a peak to summit, #TimelapseTuesday brings you a lateral perspective. Sit back and watch the clouds roll over.
