Time-Lapse Tuesday: Haitian Sunset

June 28, 2016

There is a place in the Caribbean where the tourists don't go; a tropical, rugged place of waterfalls, secret caves, and mountains that scrape the sky. Haiti is a place where casual tourists don’t go, so travellers are free to explore its beaches, waterfalls, caves, and an alluring personality rich in music, art, vodou, and of course, rum.

Of course, if you’re Haitian, you'll know the beaches nestled along the coastlines of the Sud Department. Today, the secret’s out! This is Port-Salut; and this coastal commune welcomes travellers with open arms. So grab your shades, kick off your sandals and take in this classic Haitian scene.
