Time-Lapse Tuesday: Prague’s Charles Bridge

November 18, 2014 G Adventures

It’s Tuesday, so it’s “time” to “lapse” it up! (See what we did there?) Each week, we’ll share a new way of looking at this big blue planet of ours. While a photo does a great job of capturing what we see with our own eyes, a time-lapse reveals just how little the eye can see. Turn yours onto today’s time-lapse and watch the steady passage of pedestrians on Prague’s Charles Bridge.

Filled to the brim with Romanesque, Gothic, and Renaissance architecture, Prague is a traveller’s dream come to life. But this city houses much more than the edifices of bygone eras. The Czech capital has seen the tumultuous past of the Protestant Reformation, the Thirty Years’ War, and both World Wars and has lived to tell the tale.
